At West Wellbeing, we understand that everyone’s experience of mental health and wellbeing is different. Our counselling services provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where children, young people and adults can talk openly about their thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Our therapists use an integrative approach, drawing on different therapeutic techniques to support each person. We also offer Art Psychotherapy, providing an alternative way to explore and express thoughts and feelings through creative approaches.
Whether you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, grief, low mood, difficulties in relationships or other personal challenges, our team is here to listen and support you.

Our 12-week therapy model
We work within a 12-week therapy model to provide focused, consistent support. Each client will receive a minimum of 12 sessions with a therapist, completely free of charge.
What to expect
We understand that taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. Our team will support you throughout the process, from your initial assessment through to your therapy sessions.
- Initial Assessment: A friendly and supportive conversation to understand what you are experiencing and how we can help.
- Therapeutic Support: You will be matched with a therapist who will work with you using an integrative approach suited to your circumstances and therapeutic needs.
- A Safe Space: Sessions provide a confidential and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement.
- 12 Weeks of Support: You will receive a minimum of 12 therapy sessions, free of charge, providing consistent support as you work towards positive change and improved wellbeing.
- Beyond Therapy: Where appropriate, we can also connect you with our wider support services, including befriending, advocacy and outreach, helping you access ongoing support and feel connected within your community.
