A memorable evening at the Northern Ireland premiere of Traumality, Thursday 22 October 2026.

Our Head of Care Services, Eilish Craig, and members of the West Wellbeing team attended the Northern Ireland premiere of Traumality at The MAC in Belfast on Thursday 22 October 2026.

This powerful, feature-length independent documentary by Ton Mazzone explores the links between childhood adversity and mental health. It offered the team an opportunity to reflect on a subject closely connected to our work and the importance of understanding the experiences behind a person’s mental health difficulties.

A conversation after the screening

A highlight of the evening was the opportunity to meet Ton and chat with him after the screening. Having watched the film, it was a privilege to speak with its creator and thank him for bringing such an important subject to the screen.

At West Wellbeing, we believe in listening with compassion and recognising that everyone has their own story. Thank you to Ton Mazzone and everyone involved in Traumality for an insightful and memorable evening.
